Inspects contract logging operations to ensure adherence to contract provisions and safety laws and to prevent loss of timber through breakage and damage to residual stand: Examines logging area for utilization practices, slash disposal, sanitation, observance of boundaries, and safety precautions. Issues remedial instructions for violations of contract agreement and fire and safety regulations, and prepares report of logging method, efficiency, and progress.
