Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in processing scrap rubber into reclaimed
rubber: Analyzes production schedules and assigns workers to activities, such as grinding,
straining, devulcanizing, drying, refining, and inspecting. Trains employees in work methods and
procedures. Inspects reclaimed rubber for conformance to specifications and orders reprocessing if
required. Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR (any industry) Master Title. May be
designated according to activity as Devulcanizer Inspector (rubber reclaim.); Final-Inspection
Supervisor (rubber reclaim.); Grinding-Room Inspector (rubber reclaim.); Millroom Supervisor (rubber
reclaim.); Rubber-Compounder Supervisor (rubber reclaim.).
